a special birthday announcement

As some of you may have known, it was our very own Calvin's birthday this past Sunday (2/1). You may remember Calvin from blogs such as calvinandjaredunite.blogspot.com, jaredandcalvinunite.blogspot.com, and for-humors-sake.blogspot.com. I encourage you to post a moment you shared with Calvin in our comments. If you don't, that's okay, but just remember that if it was your birthday, Calvin would definitely post a comment on your blog.

    Once, Calvin and I went hiking in Canada ... and he saw a phone booth! We thought seeing a phone booth was such a novelty that I took a picture of him pretending to use the phone booth.

    calvin may not want to remember this moment. once, in PD 2006, i asked if he could hold open the side door by the dumpster for me... and an innocent life was lost that night.

    wait a second, that wasn't me.

    Once, a bunch of us went to eat at Texas Roadhouse (our eating fad back then) and Jason's birthday had just passed. I don't remember what was said or who exactly was there, but I remember it being a good time. Oh yeah I think it was capped off by Jason singing a few bars.

    a little late on this one, but once i was walking with calvin on a sidewalk and he said hi to a lamppost with his face. =) happy belated!
